Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What makes Now & Next Studio different from other interior design services?

A: Now & Next Studio brings a researcher's eye to children's spaces. With a background in education, child development, and STEM learning environments, I design rooms that aren't just beautiful — they're intentional. Every project begins with the child who lives there, and every design decision is grounded in how kids actually learn, play, and grow.

Q: How does the design process work?

A: Every project starts with understanding your child, your family, and your space. Depending on the package you choose, we'll connect via a virtual consultation or in-person visit, then move through a collaborative design process that includes concept boards, layout plans, and curated sourcing guidance. You'll always know what to expect and what comes next.

Q: Do I need a big budget to work with Now & Next Studio?

Not at all. Our services are designed for a range of budgets. Design fees vary by package, and you control how much you spend on furnishings and materials. During our process, I'll always offer options at different price points so you can make decisions that feel right for your family.

Q: Can my child be involved in the design process?

A: Absolutely — and we encourage it. Co-designing with children is at the heart of the Now & Next approach. Kids who have a voice in their space feel more ownership, more pride, and more joy in it. We make participation age-appropriate and fun.

Q: What's the difference between a consultation and a virtual design package?

A: A consultation is a single focused session — ideal if you have specific questions, want a fresh perspective, or need help getting unstuck. A virtual design package goes deeper, delivering a complete design plan including concept boards, layout, and a curated sourcing list. Not sure which is right for you? Start with a consultation and we can always go further from there.

Q: Do you offer in-person design services?

A: Yes! Full-service in-person design is available for families in the Atlanta metro area beginning Summer 2026. In the meantime, our virtual design packages deliver a complete, actionable design plan you can implement at your own pace — no in-person visit required.
